How do I use TXTSHADOW?

How can I have a phrase blacklisted so shadows can’t be created against it?

Although we at TXTSHADOW are all about the freedom of speech we aren’t about the hate! It’s important to us that our site not be used to promote hatred of any kind including but not limited to racial hatred, religious hatred and cyber bullying. That said we have to draw distinctions between genuine opinion and deliberate offence. Should you think a phrase is being deliberately and continually misused, please contact us using the form here. You will need to supply us with the phrase you wish to be blacklisted, the offending contents of the shadow and the period of time that you have been aware of it being misused for. Our process is to initially ban the phrase for a period of 3 months, then should misuse continue it will be banned for a period of 6 months and finally 12 months. If misuse still occurs after a 12 month blacklisting the phrase will continually be put on a 12 month blacklist until misuse stops. At every point in this process it is your responsibility to notify us of continuing abuse so that the phrase can be escalated up the blacklist process. All phrases added to the blacklist are purely done so at TXTSHADOW’s sole discretion and this process may be changed or revoked without any notification to you or any third party. TXTSHADOW offers no warranties or guarantees that phrases can or will be blacklisted. As per TXTSHADOW’s user agreement, TXTSHADOW takes no responsibility for, nor shall be accountable for (to you or any third party) any content that is created or displayed whilst using TXTSHADOW.

Our database of SHADOWS is Double MD5 encrypted where possible which means not even we can unencrypted it to read the originating text if we wanted to. What’s more is that we keep no records at all of IP Address so once a SHADOW is created there’s no record of where it originated or where it was accessed from. Finally in a piece of madness not heard of in industry, for security purposes and so there’s no record once a SHADOW has expired, we DO NOT back up our server array so once a SHADOW has expired it’s gone forever, along with any associate files and email addresses.
